The Language Course

The English Language programme is given by teachers approved by the Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS) – the Quality Assurance Body for English Language Teaching (ELT) in Ireland.)

We guarantee a personal and professional service and promise an educational and enjoyable holiday for our guests.

The language classes run 5 days per week,Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day. After testing on day one teenagers are placed in a group with their level of English. The course contains lessons in language grammar, vocabulary, listening and writing skills and conversation skills.

The Equitation Course

The equitation courses run 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) and Sunday. We have 3 courses, suitable for all level of rider (not complete beginners). The riding is a mix of lessons (indoor and outdoor), competitions, cross country jumping, outdoor riding to forests, mountains and riding on Atlantic beaches. Riders will also, under supervision and guidance, prepare their horses for riding, ie grooming, brushing and putting on saddle and bridle etc…. The equitation programme is approved by by A.I.R.E. (Association of Irish Equestrian Establishments)

The Horses There are 70 horses (Irish sport horses) and ponies (Connemara ponies) of all levels at the institute.
